Arnold Howe, a veteran of World War II who took part in the Normandy invasion, circles the Veterans Memorial in Riverbank Park in Westbrook on Monday, reading the names on the pavers honoring those who fought for America. Veterans Day in Westbrook was marked by a ceremony led by Philip LeClerc, post commander of the Stephen W. Manchester Post 62 of the American Legion.
