The Scarborough Public Library, 48 Gorham Road, will host a program on maximizing charitable giving on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 6:30 p.m.
“Lifetime Gifting and Estate Bequests: Making the Most of Your Charitable Giving” will be presented by M. Jean McDevitt, a tax principal with Baker Newman Noyes, LLC.
Many may think that charitable giving is meant only for people with an abundance of wealth. In truth, philanthropic goals may be accomplished in a number of ways that make meaningful giving a possibility for anyone.This event is free to attend.
