The Double Tree Hilton in South Portland was overrun this past weekend with more than 1,000 super-heroes, zombies, wizards, ninjas, Starfleet officers and other fans of genre entertainment during the third annual Coast City Comicon. The event, sponsored by Portland comic book store Coast City Comics, will return during Veterans Day weekend next year, according to store co-owner Ross Kearney.
