I would like to encourage all Westbrook voters to vote for Colleen Hilton for mayor of Westbrook. If you don’t have the privilege as I do to know Colleen, I can tell you that she is a very unassuming person, and is truly interested in what others think about and want as residents of Westbrook. Colleen has the gift of reaching out to all so as to consider all options while looking at all sides of an issue. She is available by phone or email, and she holds regular sessions to talk about whatever issue that is near and dear to your heart. Most importantly, she has the time-tested skills, experience and leadership to make difficult decisions.

She has a proven track record in Westbrook while working with many difficult and challenging issues that she has never shied away from. She is a professional nurse and runs a nonprofit health-care agency that has maintained fiscal health when many other similar agencies have not been so fortunate. She is comfortable working with groups including employees, community-led boards, committees and advisers, international businesses, and local businesses alike. She seeks and welcomes involvement from local groups and individuals who have specific interest in local level issues, along with working with large organizations with international interests.

She truly loves Westbrook and is interested in the health and well being of all of its citizens from youngsters to seniors. She has served Westbrook in the past as a School Committee member, and currently as mayor. She is truly and sincerely interested in what you the voter thinks and wants for your city. She continues to lead Westbrook as we move forward to be the best we can be. She has been instrumental in improving our city in making it a desirable place to run a business, to be a student or employee. She has worked to improve the appearance and health of downtown, and the environment.

Under her leadership, the recreational programs and activities available at the Westbrook Community Center have grown to include dozens of programs, from fitness, swimming and exercise classes, to community gardens, to meals on wheels, to senior dining, to a busy food pantry, to dance classes, Scout meetings, the list goes on.
