To the Editor:
With many significant issues facing Brunswick, it’s imperative that voters place the very best candidate in office.
The Brunswick School Board, in particular, will feature many different items that will mold the distant future of the town.
Byron Watson is a local product of Brunswick who will fight hard for the community. I have known Byron for over 20 years and firmly believe he will be an amazing advocate for the children of Brunswick, unlike his opponent, who appears to be representing his own interests rather than that of the children.
Byron has two young children of his own who will attend the Brunswick school system, and as a parent, he would never put politics and “popularity” over what he believes are the best choices for the school system.
Byron has the integrity to represent District 1.
The people who know Byron best are in complete support of his candidacy, and they are the ones who know his moral fiber.
The reason for Byron Watson’s enormous support base is his character, Byron’s positive personality, his enthusiastic charm, and unbelievable ability to accomplish colossal tasks.
Byron would have never supported a guy who was just fired from a high school in Colorado to be our children’s principal. Why Byron’s opponent put our children in jeopardy is beyond me.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
