On Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 11:45 p.m., Cumberland County Sheriff’s deputies received information of a vehicle traveling northbound on the Maine Turnpike alleged to be carrying illegal narcotics, according to Capt. Don Goulet. Deputies located and stopped the gold-colored 1999 Chrysler 300 on the Route 26-A bypass in Gray.

A sheriff’s office K-9 team, which responded to the scene, indicated the presence of narcotics on both persons and inside the vehicle. After a search, both occupants were arrested. Deputies recovered 100 tablets of Oxydocone and 28 bags of heroin. In addition, deputies seized $1,300 in cash.

Arrested were Adam S. Uldall, 32, of 738 Bakerstown Road in Poland, and Alyssa Ashley Johnson, 24, of 3 Allen Ave. in Chelsea. Both were charged with two counts each of possession of a schedule W drug which is a class C crime.

Both are still confined at the Cumberland County Jail, pending arraignment at Portland Unified Court.
