On Saturday, Oct. 12, Wolfe’s Neck Farm will hold its annual Fall Festival from 10 a.m.- to 3 p.m. Family activities will include apple pressing, nature art, face painting, pumpkin decorating and more. Little ones can climb on a tractor or hay bale or explore the hay bale maze. Live music for kids and families will be featured with appearances by singer-songwriters Rick Charette and Roger Tincknell.

Other upcoming Wolfe’s Neck Farm events include “Farmer for the Morning” on Saturdays, where young children learn about and interact with the animals as they venture out into the pastures and visit the Discovery Garden with farm educators; and the Farm to Farm Ultra Run, on Sunday, Oct. 13. The recent Harvest Dance, featuring the Mallett Brothers Band and a surprise performance by David Mallett, was attended by more than 400 people and helped raise funds for the nonprofit organization’s mission: To continue and improve Wolfe’s Neck Farm’s long tradition of sustainable agriculture, recreation and education while preserving 626 acres of oceanfront open space.

A short PowerPoint slide presentation of images of the Wudang Mountain region will be shown, and there will also be discussion about Tai Chi and Wudang Mountain. The major portion of the program is devoted to the participants learning some basic, simple Tai Chi and Qigong moves.
