Annual heirloom supper – Saturday, Oct. 5, 4:30-6 p.m., Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 280 Ocean House Road, Cape Elizabeth. Featuring foods with locally grown produce and ingredients with casseroles, beans, salads, breads and pies. $8, $5; and $20, families (2 adults and children). Take-out will be available.

Harvest supper – Saturday, Oct. 5, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Stewart P. Morrill Post 35, 413 Broadway, South Portland. Baked ham, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, beets, bread, coffee, tea, punch and apple crisp. $8, $3. Take a non-perishable item for holiday food baskets and receive a $1 discount on meal.

Roast beef supper – Saturday, Oct. 5, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Scarborough Lions Den, 273 Gorham Road, Scarborough. $9, $4; take outs available.

VFW meal – Wednesday, Oct. 9, 5-6:30 p.m., VFW Post 932, 50 Peary Terrace, South Portland. Baked pork chops, mashed potatoes, squash, rolls and dessert. $7.
