WOOLWICH
Veterinarian Tammy Doughty hopes to move her Wiscasset animal clinic to property she and her husband, Donald, own at the intersection of Mountain Road and Hunnewell Lane.
Planning Board Chairman Allen Greene said the board has conducted a preliminary site-plan review, and will review the Doughtys’ application again Aug. 26. A public hearing would follow.
Tammy Doughty started Woodbrook Animal Clinic in Wiscasset in 1995. Woodbrook treats family pets and farm animals.
Greene said the Doughtys hope to replace a vacant house on their Woolwich property with a new clinic.
“There are no glaring issues,” he said. “The plan is nearly complete.”
