BRUNSWICK — The Pejepscot Historical Society will conduct a Pine Grove Cemetery Walking Tour with Dick Snow at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11.
The tour will explore what is perhaps Brunswick’s most famous burying ground. Snow completed an extensive research project of every family buried there, amd visitors will learn about the famous and the fascinating residents of Pine Grove Cemetery, including Joshua L. Chamberlain.
Meet at Pine Grove Cemetery on Bath Road in Brunswick.
Parking is available across the street from the cemetery, in the Bowdoin College parking lot.
The fee is $3 for members; nonmembers pay $3 in advance or $5 at the door. Call 729-6606 to register; payment is not due until time of tour.
