BATH — A petition filed with the city requesting that First Baptist Church bells be silenced or quieted overnight won’t be acted upon, after none of the petitioners appeared Wednesday before the City Council.
A clock repair company also had advised against making changes to the bell tower at the corner of Elm and Washington streets.
