BRUNSWICK — The seventh annual Brunswick Outdoor Art Festival will take place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 downtown.
This event, hosted by the Brunswick Downtown Association, is designed to celebrate and foster an appreciation of the arts. More than 90 juried artists and artisans will be displaying and selling artwork along the sidewalks of Maine Street and the Town Mall.
Thousands of visitors fill the sidewalks of Maine Street and the adjacent Town Mall to enjoy the Brunswick Outdoor Arts Festival each year, the BDA said in a news release.
The event will include performances by Maine State Music Theatre and roving musicians, as well as a variety of children’s events and art demonstrations such as woodworking, basket weaving, spoon carving, face painting, hula hooping, juggling, jewelry making, quilting, stone sculpting, henna tattoos and more.
