BRUNSWICK
A Florida man was taken to Parkview Adventist Medical Center Thursday after a three-car chain-reaction collision on U.S. Route 1 near the Maine Street overpass.
Steven Fox complained of neck pain after the accident which sandwiched his 2003 Chevrolet sedan between a Bath man’s 2000 Chevrolet pick-up truck and a 2013 Ford driven by Donna Hanson of Durham.
Police said Dodge failed to brake in time for traffic that was stopped ahead of him in the southbound lane of Route 1, almost the same location where another three-car accident sent five people to the hospital a week ago.
No charges are pending and no damage estimate was available; however, authorities said Fox’s car sustained considerable damage. The accident occurred at 3:29 p.m. and snarled traffic in both directions for 45 minutes.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
