ALEXANDER LOGAN
BATH — First Federal Savings & Loan Association recently announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors, Alexander “Alex” Logan and Lawrence “Max” Dawson. Logan has been employed as operations manager of House of Logan for the past 25 years. The House of Logan has shops in Bath, Boothbay Harbor and Camden.

He currently is a volunteer with the Boothbay Harbor Congregational Church as the treasurer and is on the investment committee. He also volunteers with the Boothbay Region YMCA on the fund development committee. He earned an M.B.A. from Babson College and lives in Boothbay.

LAWRENCE DAWSON
LAWRENCE DAWSON
Dawson had a career in law enforcement, graduating from the University of Maine, and retiring from the city of Bath as police chief. He is a Coast Guard-licensed Master and does residential construction, building and renovations.

Dawson grew up in Saco, and has lived in Bath since 1974. He is married to Holly Dawson.

He was elected county commissioner, District 3 of Sagadahoc County. He also sits on the board of directors of Old Bath Custom House, Inc., Two Bridges Regional Jail and is a nominee to the State Corrections Commission.
