BOWDOINHAM — One person was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to a local hospital after a car rolled over on Interstate 295 Tuesday night.

A dispatcher for the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office said the crash took place in the southbound lane around 6 p.m.

Authorities were not sure which hospital the accident victim would be flown to.

Maine State Police are investigating the crash. No other details are available at this time.
