Following the announcement of the retirement of longtime executive director Calien Lewis, the MBF began a national search for her replacement. The foundation is Maine’s only statewide nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization devoted exclusively to law-related charitable work.
“Calien Lewis has done tremendous work for the MBF, and it is difficult to say goodbye after 16 years. We are thrilled to have found a new executive director as well qualified as Diana,” said Barbara Raimondi, president of the board of the MBF.
Scully has an undergraduate degree from Wellesley College and a M.S.W. degree with a policy focus from the University of Michigan. Scully is qualified in many areas, including nonprofit management, legal, communication and fundraising.
