Until Aug. 4: Schoolhouse Arts Center will present “The Music Man” from July 18-Aug. 4. Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday performances are at 5 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for students and seniors. July 25-27: Casco Days takes place in and around Casco Village on Route 121. Midway opens at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 25. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Chicken BBQ at 5 p.m. Friday, followed by children’s parade at 7 p.m. On Saturday, benefit breakfast runs 8-10 a.m. at Casco Village Church. July 26-27: The First Congregational Church of Bridgton’s annual All Church Yard Sale will take place Friday and Saturday, July 26 and 27, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The sale will be held rain or shine and will be set up behind the church located at 33 South High Street in Bridgton.

Saturday, July 27: From 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Shaker Village in New Gloucester, learn to weave a classic “checkerboard” Shaker-style chair seat or stool seat using the same methods passed down by the Shakers since the 1800s. Antique and contemporary examples of Shaker chairs and Shaker chair seats will be examined. Participants need to bring a new or antique chair or footstool to reseat. July 29-31: Vacation Bible School with the theme, “Treasure Hunt,” takes place at Northside Baptist Church, 41 Whites Bridge Road, Windham. For ages 4 years to sixth grade. July 29-Aug. 2: The First Congregational Church of New Gloucester, 19 Gloucester Hill Road, hosts SUMMERFEST 2013, “Under the Big Top” Vacation Bible School, 9 a.m.-noon. For children ages 4 through 6th grade. Tuesday, July 30: An Arthritis & Agriculture Workshop, sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation, will be presented at Pineland Farms Conference Center, Room A, 15 Farm View Dr. in New Gloucester, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. All are welcome including farmers, gardeners, agricultural workers, healthcare professionals and the general public. Topics will include information on arthritis as a disease, treatment and pain management options, sources of joint stress and pain on the farm, operation changes, modifications to farm equipment and assistive technology tools. Specific segments on gardening and rural youth will also be discussed.
