Luce lands People’s United Bank role

People’s United Bank recently announced that Michelle Luce has taken on a new role as customer service manager at its Westbrook office.

Luce will be responsible for overall management of customer experience and profitability, including direct supervision and development of the customer service staff and all operational aspects of the branch. She will be accountable for all aspects of daily, monthly and quarterly referral and operational goals.

In addition, Luce will manage overall expense budget and monitor adherence to all bank policies and procedures to maximize profitability.

Luce returns to the Westbrook office, where she worked for 10 years prior to serving customers at the Windham office.

Leo Tetreault with Keller Williams has been awarded the Accredited Buyer’s Representation designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.

Tetreault operates a real estate office in Westbrook.

He joins more than 30,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the designation. All were required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in buyer representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty, both in addition to submitting documentation verifying professional experience.

Calling local 1950 PHS grads

Westbrook and Gorham graduates of the Portland High School class of 1950 are reminded that its third annual reunion luncheon will be held 11:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Tuesday at DiMillos Floating Restaurant in Portland. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

Knight on president’s list

Deborah Elizabeth Knight of Westbrook is one of 1,145 students to earn president’s list honors for the spring semester at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky.

Knight is a junior majoring in occupational safety.

Stolen Mojo park concert

A free summer concert series at Riverbank Park continues at 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, with Stolen Mojo. The series continues through Aug. 21.

Highland Lake Grange hosted Ben Touchette’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor on July 13.  His Eagle project was a handicap access ramp on the front of the grange.  Touchette is a Scout in Troop 83, which meets at the Grange Hall.  He graduated in June from Westbrook High School.
