BRUNSWICK — Norway Savings Bank recently announced that Lennie Burke has joined the bank as branch manager of its Maine Street and Cook’s Corner branches in Brunswick.

As branch manager, Burke’s responsibilities include the overall success of the branches and providing leadership to ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered. Also, Burke is responsible for business development, deposit growth and serving as the senior retail lender in the branches.

Burke comes to Norway Savings with more than 30 years of experience in the Brunswick market. Most recently, Burke was the vice presi- dent of Regional Operations at Downeast Energy, where she provided leadership to managers to maintain a successful and profitable operation of the business.

For many years, Burke has been actively involved within the Mid-coast community. She previously served as campaign chairwoman for United Way of Mid Coast Maine and was the past president of the Rotary Club of Brunswick. Also, she serves on the board of directors for Mid Coast Health Services/Hospital and People Plus.
