A WISCASSET MAN was taken to a Brunswick hospital after the vehicle he was driving crashed then rolled Wednesday afternoon along U.S. Route 1 in Woolwich. The crash, which slowed traffic, was reported at 4:01 p.m., according to the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department. Police said Russell Schneider, 59, of Wiscasset, lost control of the vehicle, which left the right side of the roadway then rolled over. Schneider, who complained of pain, was taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, stabilized and transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
