Police arrested two men Tuesday and charged them with a series of burglaries at town recreational facilities during the past two weeks.
Adam Paul Consolini, 31, and Nicholas Dylan Berry, 19, both of 28 Oak St., Apt. 3, in Brunswick, face numerous counts of burglary and theft.
Exactly how many breakins they are alleged to have committed was not disclosed. However, Brunswick police Lt. Michael Moody said “it was lot of burglaries.”
“(The thieves) took money and merchandise, whatever they could find,” Moody added.
Most of the theft reports came from concessions stands at the Lishness and Edwards athletic fields on Jordan Avenue. Police obtained video and still photos of the pair allegedly committing at least one break-in, and circulated the images among the daily patrol shifts.

Once back at the station, Mears confirmed their identities and the pair was charged with the burglaries.
Consolini and Berry posted bail at the police department and were later released.
Police are checking to see if the amount of loot obtained during the thefts reaches felony levels. If so, Consolini and Berry could be indicted in Cumberland County Superior Court in August.
