WISCASSET — The Lincoln County Sheriff ’s Department has fielded reports of gasoline a theft, and two reports of a stolen gas tank, in the Boothbay area.
On July 8, a caller reported someone stole a five-gallon gas tank from a boat in the South Bristol area. Five days earlier, a caller said somone tole a six-gallon tank valued at $150 for a dinghy in Bristol.
On July 4, a caller reported that someone stole gasoline valued at $149 from a boat tied up to a private dock in the Boothbay area.
