BATH — Coastal Dialysis, located at 55 Congress Ave. in Bath, was recently recognized by its company, Fresenius Medical Care, as a Center of Excellence, Platinum-level, for achieving the highest standards in patient care in 2012, according to a news release.

The annual awards recognize the best performing FMC dialysis facilities nationwide. Bath is a small clinic with 60 patients and 14 staff.

Fresenius has established high standards and evaluates its centers on anemia management, treatment adequacy, nutrition, patient satisfaction, and transplant education.
