POWNAL — Fuego Diablo will be offering live acoustic music Saturday, July 13, from 5 to 9 p.m. at 52 Loring Lane.
Performances range a number of genres. Bring an instrument or a voice and join in, or just come and enjoy the music. Storytellers and poets also are welcome. In the spirit of the evening — the eve of the 1789 storming of the Bastille — songs of revolution, incarceration and the bon vivant of France are encouraged.
Performance slots will be open for individual acts plus a jam session for anyone who wants to drop in and play later in the evening. Cool desserts served from 5 to 6 p.m.
Music begins promptly at 6 p.m. The evening is free and open to all ages and abilities.
This month’s fun will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Please bring own chairs and bug spray. In the event of wet weather, it will move inside where seating is limited.
Please check the Facebook page on the day of the event for weather updates.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
