CUMBERLAND — Norton Insurance recently announced that the agency has acquired the Davis Insurance Agency of Monmouth from United Insurance Group.

With five full-time agency professionals, the Davis agency provides personal and business insurance to residents and businesses of western Kennebec County. All five members have agreed to continue their employment as members of the Norton Insurance Agency team.

“We are excited to be a part of the Monmouth community, and we are committed to developing and growing the Davis Insurance Agency,” said Jeffory Begin, president of Norton Insurance. “Our plan is to infuse new resources into the agency and to strengthen our strategic commitment to Central Maine, rather than to maintain the status quo.”
