HARPSWELL — Islands Community Church will hold a silent auction July 4 to help raise funds to add handicap access to its historic Bailey Island Union Church building.
The auction will run from noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 4.
There will be more than 100 items up for bid, including gift certificates for restaurants, food and lobsters; lodging; landscaping services; golf, boat rides and tennis; flowers and theater; heating oil and car care; and spa services. In addition, there will be handcrafts and art, including a card bird, knit and sewn products, wreaths and home goods, photography, oil painting, jewelry, pet items and fresh-baked goods. Baskets to be bid on will feature gourmet food, Maine items, children’s items, games and gardening items.
