FIVE IN-COMING seniors from Morse High School attended the 66th annual Dirigo Boys State at Thomas College in Waterville. From left are Nathanial Barter, Kyle Bonti, Kyle Hietala, Cody Lamoreau and Joshua Valentine. The Morse contingent was sponsored by the local American Legion Smith-Tobey Post 21. This year, two Morse students received recognition. Kyle Bonti was selected as one of five students for being an Outstanding Citizen which recognizes the most involved delegate at the municipal level. Kyle Hietala was selected as one of two students to attend Boys Nation in Washington, D.C., which takes place July 19-26. Hietala had previously been elected by his peers to serve as the governor of Boys State.
