NEWCASTLE — Seacoast Energy Solutions recently announced the acquisition of Damariscotta-based TempControl, according to a news release.
The consolidation of the two companies results in a full-service, residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and indoor air quality solutions enterprise. The announcement follows Seacoast’s recent rebranding launch and is part of the company’s growth strategy.
“This is part of a strategic shift toward delivering more sales and service solutions to our customers,” said Casey Pratt, owner and CEO of SES.
The entire staff at TempControl and its infrastructure are included in the acquisition, and the transition was complete on June 17.
Seacoast Energy Solutions will continue to serve customers in Boothbay, Newcastle and Wiscasset and will expand to also incorporate TempControl’s service area, the entire Mid-coast. The company’s headquarters will be located on Route 1 in Newcastle.
