PORTLAND — Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, has once again been ranked in Chambers USA, a directory of the nation’s top law firms and leading business lawyers. For the seventh consecutive year, Robert Keach received Chambers’ highest ranking of “Star Individual” for his work in bankruptcy.
The firm received the highest possible ranking in the categories of corporate mergers and acquisitions, energy and natural resources, and real estate.
“We are very proud to have received such highly esteemed rankings from Chambers USA,” said Bernstein Shur CEO Charles Miller.
In addition to firm-wide accolades, 30 Bernstein Shur attorneys were individually ranked among the nation’s top lawyers, including 10 who ranked in the top band of their areas of practice.
The Bernstein Shur attorneys from the Mid-coast region included in the 2013 Chambers USA directory are:
— Energy and Natural Resources: Gordon Grimes (Durham), John Montgomery III (South Freeport), Patrick Scully (Brunswick).
— Labor and Employment: Linda McGill (Freeport).
