FREEPORT – The Freeport-based Merriconeag Waldorf High School graduated 12 seniors in a ceremony at the New Gloucester school’s Community Hall on June 8.
According to senior class adviser Jeff O’Brien, the class is the largest in the 29-year history of the school.
“This was an exceptional group,” said O’Brien. “They took their academics very seriously and also excelled athletically.”
This is the fourth class the school has graduated from 12th grade, said Deeda Burgess, the school’s public relations coordinator.
