WINDHAM – The Windham Eagles beat the visiting Biddeford Tigers, 5-4, in a Western Class A baseball quarterfinal game last Thursday night. The game went 13 innings before senior outfielder Calvin Field, with his sixth hit of the game, drove in Nate Boyle with the winning run.

The Eagles, ranked No. 3 in Western Class A, advanced to the semifinals, where they lost at No. 2 Marshwood, 4-3, on Saturday. Windham finishes the season 14-4.

Biddeford, the 11th-ranked team in the Western Class A tournament, finishes the season 7-11.
