BATH
Regional School Unit 1 residents get their final opportunity today to vote on a $27.7 million 2013-14 budget. They’ll also decide whether to continue such town-by-town voting in the future.
Voters passed all 19 budget articles at a districtwide meeting last week at Bath Middle School.
If passed, the spending plan and a newlyadopted costsharing formula would produce a 24 percent school tax increase in West Bath, 16.5 percent in Woolwich and 6.3 percent in Bath. Phippsburg and Arrowsic would pay 10.6 percent and 2.6 percent less, respectively.
