PORTLAND (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a South Carolina man has pleaded guilty to sending pictures of himself engaged in sexual activity with two young girls over the Internet to a Maine man.
Daniel Cobb of Rock Hill, S.C., pleaded guilty Thursday in U.S. District Court in Portland to two counts of production of child pornography.
Authorities say Cobb, 37, took photographs and videos of himself sexually exploiting the girls, ages 8 and 6, and sent some to David Muise of Portland. The girls were daughters of a friend.
Cobb was arrested on a criminal complaint out of the District of Maine in November.
Cobb faces a maximum of 30 years in prison at sentencing at a future date.
Muise was sentenced earlier this month to 25 years in prison.
