OAKLAND — Messalonskee completed an unbeaten regular season Tuesday with an 18-9 girls lacrosse win over visiting Morse High School.

The host Eagles improved to 12-0, while the Shipbuilders dipped to 7-5.

Kristy Bernatchez paced the win with four goals and three assists, and Ally Fischang chipped in with four goals and an assist.

Other Messalonskee scorers included Sarah Brazz (1- 0), Mikayla Turner (2-2), Sydney Gagne (3-1), Lilly Delisle (0-1), Nathalie St. Pierre (0-1), Lucy Guernieri (1-0) and Kristen Kern (3-0).

Goaltender Izzy Skinner made six saves.

In the Morse effort, Sadia Crosby had three goals, Sophie Sreden two goals and two assists, Ruth Nadeau and Monica Frempong a goal each, Grace Koslosky two scores, and Paige Martin an assist.

Cat Sener came away with 13 saves for the Shipbuilders.

Cony hosted Mt. Ararat on Tuesday and beat the Eagles in Class A action.

Mt. Ararat closed out its regular season at 6-6.

Goals for the hosts came from Haley Hanks and Bayleigh Logan with two each, and Autumn Robinson, Emily Quirion and Josie Lee with one.

The Eagles got goals from Katie Labbay and Sierra Gilley, each with two, and Carly Raymond with one.

Bailey Sullivan had 13 saves for Mt. Ararat, while Izzy Eames had five for Cony.

Matt Buczkowski scored four goals and Alexander Paulus chipped in three goals and three assists to lead the visiting Shipbuilders over Cony at Augusta on Monday.

“With several players out on a Memorial Day weekend, Morse went to Cony to play hard, with this our only crossover game this season,” said Morse coach Jay Paulus, whose Shipbuilders improved to 8-3 and host Lincoln Academy today at 4:30 p.m. “The team played one of their better games as a collective squad.”

Dylan Crowell and Miles Day picked up one assist each for Morse. James Laser led in groundballs with eight, with Kevin Tolan scooping up seven, and Alexander Paulus and Day getting to four apiece.

In goal, Kevin Thibodeau had four saves in the win.
