Joe Jencks, Greg Greenway and Pat Wictor have made their mark as veteran touring singer-songwriters, but Brother Sun is no songwriter’s round, a news release said.
Jencks, Greenway and Wictor each toured as solo singersongwriters for more than a decade before forming, what some have called the “Super Group,” Brother Sun. Their collective musical experience encompasses folk, roots, blues, pop, jazz, rock and a capella singing. The band fuses them all in an explosion of musical diversity and harmony, in the finest of male singing traditions. From three major points on the map — Chicago, Boston and New York — the three have truly blended themselves into a unique celebration of the amazing power of singing together.
Tickets are $18 advance/$20 at the door. Purchase tickets at the CCAC box office or online at www.chocolatechurcharts.org.
