Here is a roundup of Midcoast events for Memorial Day:

WOOLWICH

A Memorial Day service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church on Middle Road, Route 127. All veterans will be recognized.

DRESDEN

White’s Company, a local Revolutionary War Living History group, will give a salute at the 59th annual observance of Memorial Day at the 1761 Pownalborough Court House, 11 a.m., Monday at the flagpole on the parade ground.

The Rev. Bruce Alexander of Dresden, assisted by George White’s Company, with camp followers and families, will lead the assembled to the courthouse cemetery for a program of honor for fallen soldiers.

BATH

The 12th anniversary of the “We Remember” event is noon Monday at the Library Park gazebo beginning with the presentation of the colors and the Pledge of Allegiance. The names of each of fallen heroes will be read and a bell tolled in their honor. At the conclusion of the readings, a rifle salute will follow and wreaths placed at the base of the War Memorial. The Smith-Tobey American Legion Post color guard will lead the city’s Memorial Day parade at 10:30 a.m. The parade turns right from the Legion Hall onto Congress Avenue, to Lincoln Street and then Centre St.

BRUNSWICK TOPSHAM

Parade assembly will begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Market Place Mall in Topsham.

The parade begins at 9 a.m. and travels down Main Street in Topsham and crosses the “Green” Bridge, ending at Fort Andross in Brunswick.
