BRUNSWICK — The Bowdoin College women’s tennis team has earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament and will host a regional this weekend at the Pickard Tennis Courts.
Action begins on Friday with a pair of neutral-site First Round matches as Bridgewater State (13-2) faces Endicott (18-3) and No. 22 MIT (16-4) battles Simmons (15-5). Fifth-ranked Bowdoin (14-4) and sixth-ranked Middlebury (11-6) both received byes into Saturday’s second round.
This will be the 12th consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament appearance for Bowdoin. Last spring, the Polar Bears reached the National Quarterfinals for just the second time in program history.
