BOWDOIN — The driver of a car that rolled over along Main Street in Bowdoin Sunday morning escaped serious injury in the crash that left her car totaled.

Reported at 8:30 a.m., Chief Deputy Brett Strout of the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department said Theresa Beckwith, 34, of Richmond, was “apparently driving too fast,” while traveling west on Main Street in a 2003 Chevy Cavalier, when she lost control of the vehicle and went off the road and rolled over.

Strout said Beckwith complained of pain but was not transported.
