BRUNSWICK — The Youth Ministry of All Saints Parish is sponsoring a ham supper as a fundraiser for this summer’s teen mission trip to Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
The supper will be held on Friday, May 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen St. The menu will include baked ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, rolls, dessert and beverage, and tickets at the door are $8 for adults and $4 for children.
Jewelry made by local teens will also be on sale. “Start Mother’s Day weekend off well by taking your Mom out to dinner, or just come to support this outreach and service initiative by local teens,” states a release from the church.
On their trip, the teens will be working mostly at a program that helps small children who live in serious poverty, and will engage in other types of work as needed by the local community.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
