FREEPORT — Owners of pure- and mixed-breed pitbulls who qualify for public assistance and who need help to spay or neuter their dogs can get it through a program offered by the Animal Farm Foundation.

Freeport Community Spay- Neuter Clinic performs exams and services funded by the grants. The $50 exam also includes rabies vaccinations.
