BOSTON — Jeanne Hulit, acting U.S. Small Business Administration New England Regional administrator, recently announced that Marilyn Geroux has been selected to serve as SBA’s district director for the state of Maine.
“Marilyn started her career with the SBA in 1969 and has worked in various capacities with increasing levels of responsibility during her time here,” said Hulit. “Marilyn’s familiarity with the full range of SBA’s products and services and her long association with our resource partners and other small business organizations throughout the state mean that she is an excellent fit for this position.”
Geroux’s most recent assignment was as deputy district director where she provided leadership and oversight of SBA’s programs and services, including the Maine Small Business Development Centers, SCORE and the Women’s Business Centers.
