Amtrak trains, including the Downeaster service to Maine, have been disrupted by the manhunt in the Boston area.
The Downeaster is operating on schedule between Brunswick and Exeter, N.H., but the train is currently not entering Massachusetts, according to the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority. Passengers should check the service’s status
Boston had shut down all public transportation into and out of the city until further notice, Amtrak said. Train 680 was being held in Exeter.
A ticket agent at Concord Coach Lines said that buses from Maine were still leaving for Boston, as of 7:30 a.m.
