ERIE, Pa. – Chris Wright scored 23 points and Omar Reed added 20 as the Maine Red Claws remained alive for a D-League playoff spot tonight with a 110-99 win over the Erie BayHawks at Erie Insurance Arena.

The Red Claws (26-23) eliminated the BayHawks (25-24) from postseason contention and kept themselves afloat pending other results around the league tonight. They potentially could need to beat the BayHawks against Saturday night.

Maine never trailed and jumped to a 16-point lead early, but Erie cut it to one, 32-31, with 9:35 to go in the first half. Behind Fab Melo and Wright, and with guard Jermaine Taylor ailing, they rebuilt the lead to 56-45 at the half.
