Police arrested two Portland men on weapons charges after an incident Wednesday night on Bluff Road.
Fadhil Alghazi, 51, and Ali K. Anthony, 41, both face charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon after a couple reported at 9:06 p.m. they were threatened at with knives at their home.
As police responded, the suspects left the scene in a taxi, which police learned was being operated by Anthony and based out of Portland.
Bath police Officer Garrett Olson located the suspect vehicle downtown near King Street, according to the police report. He stopped the vehicle and identified the two suspects.

Alghazi, who was a frontseat passenger, and Anthony, the Portland taxi driver, were arrested and transported to Bath Police Department.
Police said they recovered one of the knives used at the residence and are still investigating any motives.
Alghazi was being held at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on $25,000 cash or $100,000 surety bond. In addition to the threat charge, he also is charged with terrorizing and assault.
Anthony is being held on $10,000 cash or $50,000 surety. In addition to the threat charge, he faces additional charges of terrorizing and indecent conduct.
