Elim Community Church, Bath
BATH — Elim Community Church will be holding a special Easter service this Sunday morning starting at 10:30 a.m.

POWNAL — An Easter sunrise service will be held Sunday on the peak of Bradbury Mountain at 6:15 a.m. with the Rev. John Wentworth officiating.
There will also be a service under the shelter at the foot of the mountain wiht Pastor Sandy Williams for those unable to climb the mountain. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held in the sanctuary of First Parish Congregational Church in Pownal.
Coffee and doughnuts will be served at the church following the service. The service is jointly sponsored by First Parish Congregational Church and First Baptist Church of Freeport.

Dresden-Richmond United Methodist Church, Richmond
RICHMOND — A Good Friday prayer vigil is planned from noon to 3 p.m. today at Dresden-Richmond United Methodist Church, 121 Pleasant St.
The church will celebrate the Resurrection with an Easter sunrise service at the Richmond Waterfront Gazebo on Sunday at 6:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will follow at the church.
There will also be an Easter worship service at the church 10 a.m.

WEST BATH — A Resurrection celebration is planned Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Gospel Light Fellowship, 412 State Road.
The Easter program will include puppets and music as the church celebrates the greatest event in history, the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

PHIPPSBURG — A Phippsburg community Easter sunrise service will be held at the Phippsburg Congregational Church, UCC, 10 Church Lane, at 6 a.m.

Bath United Church of Christ
BATH — The Neighborhood Faith Community at Bath United Church of Christ will celebrate a Good Friday Taize Service at 7 p.m. today.
On Easter Sunday, the 10 a.m. service will include sacred dance and special music. Child care and a children’s ministry is available.
Cundy’s Harbor Community Church, Harpswell
HARPSWELL — A Good Friday service is planned at 7 p.m. tonight at Cundy’s Harbor
Community Church.
On Saturday, there will be a screening of the movie, “The Passion of the Christ,” at 6:30 p.m.
A sunrise service is planned at 6:15 a.m. on Sunday at Watson’s Wharf with a potluck breakfast and Easter egg hunt at the Community Hall from 7 to 9 a.m.
An Easter morning worship service will begin at 10 a.m. There will be no Sunday school this week.

Popham Chapel, Phippsburg
PHIPPSBURG — The Popham Chapel, located in the Popham Beach village on Route 209, will hold its traditional Easter morning service on Sunday at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Janet Leighninger will officiate the non-denominational service, with music by Richard Hankinson. The service will be followed by a coffee hour in the Chapel House next door.
First Baptist Church, Freeport
FREEPORT — First Baptist Church is planning an egg hunt on Saturday, March 23, from 1 to 3 p.m., for children in grades K-5, accompanied by an adult. In addition to the egg hunt, children will learn about the real meaning of Easter through a presentation featuring “Resurrection Eggs,” a short movie and crafts.
Refreshments will be served. Each child will receive his own set of “Resurrection Eggs” and a book to take home.
