BRUNSWICK — Junior Kaitlynn Miller will be the first Bowdoin College Nordic skier to compete at the NCAA Championships since 1997 when she hits the trails on Thursday at the Rikert Nordic Center in Middlebury, Vt.
Miller is set to compete in the women’s 5K Classic at 10 a.m. on Thursday and will race again on Saturday in the women’s 15K Freestyle at 10 a.m.

Miller earned Second Team All- NEISA honors after an exceptional campaign that saw her establish program records for best-ever finish on three occasions this winter. Her top showing came at the Dartmouth Carnival, where she took third place in the 5K Classic race.
Miller is also an Academic All- NESCAC honoree. She is the first Polar Bear to qualify for NCAA’s since Nicole Robillard in 1997.
