
The bride graduated from Brunswick High School, holds a B.A. from Roger Williams University and M.B.A. from Walden University. She is a designer and sales/marketing writer for SAGE Dining Services.
The groom graduated from Butler High School, Penn State University, and holds a master’s in journalism from Towson University. He is a blogger/reporter for the Baltimore Sun.
The ceremony and reception were at the Portland Regency on Dec. 29, 2012, at 4:30 p.m.
Patricia Cavanaugh and Ronald Johnston accompanied Ms. Cavanaugh-Johnston down the aisle.
Robert Grant, stepfather of the bride, was officiant.
Brunswick residents Elizabeth Rattey, Amanda Matznick, and Natalie Ney were maid of honor, bridesmaid, and flower girl, respectively. The best man was Andrew Willment and DJ Jacobson-Butler was ring bearer. Amy Johnston, Kelly Dias, and Kimberly Spencer were bridesmaids; Andre Garabedian, Matthew Finck, David Heichel, and Benjamin Pillow were groomsmen.
Sisters of the bride, Cara E. Ney and Laurel G. Philippakos, gave readings.
Grandmothers Jean McBride Johnston and Iva- Jean Ockenfels Cavanaugh were present to celebrate the new couple.
After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple will continue to reside and work in Baltimore, Md.
