FALMOUTH – Hugh Grygiel scored from J.P. White after 5:46 of overtime Saturday night to lift Falmouth to a 3-2 victory against St. Dominic in a schoolboy hockey game at Family Ice.
After Ethan Low scored for Falmouth (14-2) late in the first period from White, Dillon Pratt answered for St. Dominic (10-5-1) in the third.
Isaac Nordstrom put the Yachtsmen back on top at 12:09, but Chasse Hainey tied it 36 seconds later.
Falmouth goalie Dane Pauls made 28 saves. Grant Carrier turned away 39 shots for the Saints.
CAPE ELIZABETH 9, LEAVITT 2: Brandon Negele had two goals and an assist, and Matt Riggle added two goals to lead Cape Elizabeth (6-10-1) over Leavitt (4-12-1) at Portland.
Eli Breed and Chris Grennon each added a goal and three assists for Cape Elizabeth.
GORHAM 5, BONNY EAGLE 2: Chris Hardy scored twice in the third period as the Rams (9-6-1) pulled away from a 2-2 tie against Bonny Eagle (13-5) entering the final period at Gorham.
Mick Mansir also scored during the decisive third.
Mansir, Tucker Buteau and Spence Cowand each had a goal and an assist for the Rams. Josh Bagley and Shayne Plummer scored for Bonny Eagle.
CHEVERUS 4, MARSH-WOOD/TRAIP 1: Liam Fitzpatrick and Cameron McLain had a goal and an assist apiece, and James Hannigan added two assists to help the Stags (11-5) beat the Hawks (7-10) at Portland.
Patrick Sullivan and Alex Grant-Roy also scored for Cheverus.
Peter Lajeunesse scored and Tyler Gagnon made 37 saves for Marshwood/Traip.
WESTBROOK 6, WINDHAM/SACOPEE VALLEY 3: Mike Kelly and Jake Webster scored two goals apiece for the Blue Blazes (3-14), who took a 5-1 first-period lead against the Wings (2-14) at Gorham.
Jake Coro added a goal and an assist, and Ricky Henward made 40 saves for Westbrook.
Owen Phillips had a goal and an assist for Windham/Sacopee Valley.
PORTLAND/DEERING 5, FRYEBURG/LAKE REGION 1: Chris Eye had a hat trick to power the Bulldogs (11-4) past the Raiders (3-10-2) at Portland.
Luigi Grimaldi and Caleb Fraser also scored, and Mike Fuller had a pair of assists. John Gatti made 21 saves for the win.
