SOUTH PORTLAND — Continuing its support of Maine’s small business sector, Southern Maine Community College will again host the “Calling All Entrepreneurs” event, matching small business owners with local experts.
The event is Friday, Feb. 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Hague Hall’s conference room at SMCC’s South Portland campus.
“We host this event at SMCC every year because it makes a difference. We have watched a few businesses launch as the result of this event. In addition, it’s free advice from experts,” said Michelle Neujahr, director of SMCC’s Entrepreneurial Center.
Registration is required, and can be done by contacting Neujahr at mneujahr@smccme.edu.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
