The Windham Fire Department has contained a house fire that required firefighters from around the region to respond at the height of the storm.

A Cumberland County dispatcher said the fire was reported at 6:20 a.m. at a single family home at 81 Swett Rd. 

Firefighters were just beginning to leave the scene at 9:30 a.m. Saturday to return to their stations to clean up and get warm, the dispatcher said.
